ABC viewers have finally been given some good news regarding the latest season of the Freddie Highmore-led infirmary drama. The news comes after the network pulled its new family drama The Promised Country after only 5 episodes.

Upon seeing the latest trailer, fans of The Good Doctor flocked to Twitter to celebrate the news of its return in just a few days.

An official synopsis for episode eight, Rebellion, reads: "Now that Shaun has called off the wedding, he is forced to confront Lea about their human relationship and decide what he really ways to her.
"Meanwhile, the team debate their opinions on plastic surgery and Dr Audrey Lim hopes to betrayal Salen'due south cover-up over an infant's death to take her down before it is as well late."
St Bonaventure may exist back on screens sooner than expected, but Shaun, Audrey and the residue of the team still have a long way to become before their infirmary is truly safe.
