2 Tennessee Specific Prescribing Hour of Continuing Education

About this activity: Licensed professionals that prescribe opioids will provide learners with education on and information regarding the Tennessee Department of Health Chronic Pain Guidelines. This course will be taught through the perspectives of physicians, pharmacists, and mid-level providers. Fees: $40.00 per person

**Meets Tennessee Prescribing Practices Credit Requirements**

Method of physician participation in the learning process:

Learners will be expected to take a pretest, review the material, take a post test, and complete an evaluation. A score of at least 80% correct must be achieved to obtain credit.

To receive CME credit, participants should:

1. Register and pay for CME credit;
2. two emails will be sent to you; a receipt of payment and confirmation with a link to begin the process;
3. click on the link to begin with the pretest questions;
4. view the Tennessee Opioid Prescribing Credits material;
5. successfully complete the testing with a  score of 80% or better;
6. if a passing score is obtained, proceed to the evaluation;
7. if a score of 80% is not obtained, you will be given one additional retake;
8. if a passing score is not obtained on the second attempt, you must register again.

Upon successfully completing the post test with a score of 80% or better and the activity evaluation, credit will be posted to your transcript. Target audience: All physicians, pharmacists, dentists, and nurses in the state of Tennessee and other specialists or health care providers writing prescriptions.
